I rented a Dolan carbon road bike from Roy's bikes this morning and the whole process was so easy. Popped in and he had a bike in my size (I'm 182cm tall), he gave the bike a once over before I headed out, changing a new tyre, and I was out the door within 15 minutes.
Good range of bikes, all the kit available (helmet, pump and tool kit included in the price). Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Roy enough. This man knows his stuff, he’s more than happy to help and he drove to me to collect a bike and drop me to a medical centre when I fell off. He’s amazing, his prices are so good and he’s an absolute legend. I owe him so much and I will forever be grateful that I hired a bike from him. I honestly cannot recommend him enough and if you hire a bike you really do want someone who cares and goes the extra mile. That is Roy. He helped my mother an I with what bikes we needed and there really isn’t an extra mile he won’t cover. The shop is very central too and he has a vast range of bikes for all abilities. Please visit if you want bike hire because you will not find a better place on the island.

Phoned ‘Roy's bike shop’ from the UK and arranged a road bike for hire for a week early November. Roy gave me a selection to choose from and make my decision on arrival. Arrived at Roy’s shop first thing Monday morning and he had prepped a Planet X Di2 which after a short spin, took away. Everything was provided ( including a couple of gas ). The bike was great, Roy is / was totally chilled and great to deal with.
I hope to return in 2024 and wouldn’t hesitate using Roy again.

Hired a hard tail MTB for a day to explore a bit as a cyclist needs to ride, even when on holiday😎. Just did a 16km circuit of the volcano in the end but enjoyed it. Roy was a very helpful guy, nice and laid back (as us cycle technicians should be). I would recommend his shop for all your needs, be it last minute as mine was, or planned.

Great family run bike shop. Great service, good people and decent bikes. I rented two bikes while I was here. I took a MTB to playa papagayo and a road bike 92 kms around the island on a route I found on Komoot. I recommend the bike shop and both adventures!

Roy is really friendly and knowledgeable, great range of bikes to suit everyone. The Trek bike I hired was amazing! I hired it for 2 days and loved cruising round the island on it. Definitely recommend visiting and hiring a bike from Roy.
