Worked Out Well
We rented a ladies hybrid and a gents mountain bike with a tag a long for our daughter. The service by email was quick and helpful on spot. The bikes were nice and it was great to be able to move around. Our daughter loved the bike and people paid much attention to the tag a long with a smiling kid.
Great Bike Mechanics!
Brought my bike on the plane in a hard case, it arrived two days after me in a damaged hard case (Monarch airline - terrible experience...).
After waiting for a couple of days for my bike to arrive, with it damaged beyond my abilities as a mechanic thought that the holiday was a write off...
I took it to the local bike rental shop who I hoped would be able to point me in the direction of a bike repair workshop, little was I to know that they had a secret weapon in the form of Markus; in 30 mins he had straightened the components and fettled it to not just a ridable form, but in all probability better than when I set off.
He has recommended replacing some parts when I get home but he got me on the road and out in the sunshine, top man!

Hiring from Roy at rent-a-bike is a pleasure. His prices are low and the service is excellent. Good well maintained road and mountain bikes, everything for the racing cyclist and mountain biker.
I had a puncture out in the wilds and Roy even came out to assist me, cannot speak too highly of him and his product, I would recommend his bike rental business every time.
Friendly service, nothing was a problem
Hired 2 road bikes for 5 days and couldn't fault the service we received. Roy is a friendly guy who gave us good information on our first trip riding in Lanzarote.
Popped back in on day 3 to use his track pumps and get chained lubed again, all no problem. Thoroughly recommend and will use again.

We took advice, and got a tag-along for our 6 year old daughter instead of her own bike. She's brilliant at home, but we forgot to factor in the Lanzarote heat!
She thoroughly enjoyed being a lady of leisure, and our 8 year old son managed fine on his own. Thank you for an excellent service.

Week 1, Hired 2 bikes (Dolan), all set up by Roy, great banter, great service, great route out to El Golfo.
Week 2, went back with friends and hired 4 bikes.
Again great friendly service, got us all sorted and back to El Golfo. Would definitely recommend Roy.

I've been using Roys Bike Shop for 3 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Roy knows the island like the back of his hand and on my first visit encouraged me to explore which gave me confidence to push myself.
I've had a Bianchi and Dolan which have been very reliable - no problems - and fit my size. Roy has kindly let me try out tri-bars and kept my tyres pumped up well. Top Class service, top class fellah.
